The Food Directorate oversees the production of foodstuffs for the Earth Federation.
The Directorate is responsible for establishing Tabor Saroyan as governor of Vistula, Earth's main food cultivation and processing plant for the creation of food discs.
The Directorate is known for sending inspectors, who Saroyan and Julio often equate to "spies" (BR25: "Planet of the Slave Girls").
