Born in New York, New York, Silver performed from 1970 through to 1998 CE in a variety of productions as a character actor, including appearances in Charlie's Angels, Happy Days, Emergency! and The Six Million Dollar Man. He had a recurring role as Sgt. Prince in Kojak from 1973 to 1976 CE.
