The star fortress is a class of capital ship in use by the Draconian Empire in 2491 CE.
The ship boasts considerable defensive and offensive power over the subjects of the Draconian realm, as well as against their adversaries. It has massive resources within its bulk, including infantry, scientific corps and a pilot corps outfitted with the latest Hatchet fighters of its time.
Draconia is one such ship, before it is destroyed by the forces of the Earth Defense Directorate and William "Buck" Rogers (BR25: "Awakening").
Another of the star fortresses, also called Draconia, is commanded by Ardala in later detentes with Rogers and the EDD (BR25: "Escape from Wedded Bliss", "Ardala Returns", "Flight of the War Witch").
